Overview

• Incorporates pump on sensor, an eight (8-10) second time delay allowing for maximum water elimination as well as the elimination of pump cycling for prolonged pump life. Consists of secondary sensor providing a redundant double backup switch.
• Solid state circuitry - no relay or moving parts
• Defined trip point-Oil/fuel spills will not activate pump
• Performance is not hampered by accumulated oil and grease
• Extended sensor allows the switch to be mounted high above the contaminated water
• All materials are impervious to substances common to boat bilges

Operation

• Sensing is accomplished by measuring the dielectric constant of the medium at the sensor The circuit works as follows: When the water level reaches the sensor the pump will turn on and continue pumping for eight (8-10) seconds after the water is no longer detected, this operation allows for maximum water elimination and virtually eliminates pump cycling due to water splashing when boat is moving. In addition, includes secondary sensor, for any reason the bottom sensor fails to start the pump, the water will rise to the standby sensor; this will activate the pump. Once pumping is completed and both sensors are out of water, the switch will recalibrate to its original settings compensating for any environmental changes.
