See Water, Inc. Launches New Additions to the Sensor Pro™ Series

February 6, 2024

See Water, Inc., an industry-leading manufacturer of pump control panels for water and wastewater operations, is proud to introduce new additions to its premium Sensor Pro™ Series - the Ultrasonic Pro™ Level Sensor, the Radar Pro™ Level Sensor, and two new intrinsically safe Transducer Pro™ Submersible Level Transmitters.

The Ultrasonic Pro™ Level Sensor combines an ultrasonic sensor, temperature sensor, ultrasonic servo circuit, and transmission circuit. The body of this sensor is IP65 rated waterproof, designed for long-term reliability, and is easy to install and maintain. This sensor is well-suited for non-foaming chemical, water, wastewater, and petroleum-based liquid applications.

The Radar Pro™ Level Sensor is a high-precision ultra-low-power millimeter-wave IP67 rated radar level sensor. It uses non-contact technology, eliminating the need for physical contact with the measured substance, which prevents contamination and minimizes maintenance requirements. This allows for the sensor to be used in a wide variety of applications, such as water processing, pump stations, stormwater overflow tanks, and level monitoring applications.

In addition to the new radar and ultrasonic sensors, See Water also offers a complete range of Float Pro® Control Switches and Transducer Pro™ Submersible Level Sensors. There are also two new intrinsically safe transducer models currently in stock and available for same or next-day shipping.

See Water Celebrates 25th Anniversary

July 13, 2020

See Water, Inc. is proud to celebrate its 25th anniversary of providing a global network of OEMs, manufacturing representatives and customers the highest quality engineered products on the market.

“This is a tremendous milestone for all of us at See Water. Over the past 25 years, we have made it our mission to deliver exceptional service and the highest quality products to our customers in alignment with our core values,” said Mike Johnson, President and CEO. “Our incredible team has worked hard over the years to honor our commitment to the customers we serve, and I am proud of all that we have accomplished.”

See Water was incorporated on July 13, 1995. Ron MacDonald recognized the need for a reliable way to pump water from underground utility vaults without the risk of pumping oil into the environment. After retiring from a 36-year career at Southern California Edison, he found the solution in the form of a then-new capacitive technology, which he used to develop the Oil Smart® pump switch .

The Oil Smart® alarm was introduced in 2005. By 2006, See Water moved to its own manufacturing facility in San Jacinto, Calif. The Oil Smart® simplex control panel joined the product line that same year.

Mike Johnson became President of See Water after Ron’s retirement in 2012. Mike was later named President and CEO of See Water, Inc. The corporation also introduced its first Intrinsically Safe products for the Oil Smart® product line and obtained its UL 508A and UL 698A certifications that year. See Water eventually outgrew the San Jacinto location and moved to a 26,000-foot manufacturing facility in Riverside, Calif., in 2017.

After an F-16 fighter jet returning to the March Air Reserve Base crashed into the Riverside manufacturing facility in May 2019, the See Water team worked hard to rebuild and achieve optimal manufacturing capabilities and daily business operations at a temporary location. See Water came back stronger than before when it moved back to the permanent facility in September 2019.

Several ongoing facility enhancements were recently completed, including new office space for its engineering department and a state-of-the-art training room. See Water’s industry experts have continued to innovate and enhance several product lines.

With over 25 years of proven field results, Oil Smart® is still the reliable solution for pumping water without the risk of pumping oil. See Water also specializes in top-of-the-line WS Series® water and wastewater control systems , Hydra® transducer control systems , Parabola® variable frequency drive (VFD) control systems for pump down and constant pressure applications , Knight Series® liquid level alarms and advanced custom control systems . Additionally, See Water offers Pump Portal® real-time remote monitoring for all of its industry-leading products and has in-house experts who can retrofit any control system with this progressive technology. All of See Water’s products are designed, assembled and tested in the United States by its team of experienced engineers and expert craftsmen.

“Innovation is one of our core values and we will continue to push the envelope in our research and development in order to provide the best pre-engineered and custom control solutions on the market to our customers,” said Ken Durant, Director of Sales and Marketing. “We look forward to continuing to serve our customers as their trusted source for quality control panels.”
