The
Oil Smart® Pump Switch is a
stand-alone pump controller, requires
no expensive electrical panels, will
operate any pump up to 1/2 HP and future
1 HP model includes built-in ON and OFF
deferential of 2" or 6". An
industrial grade switch that differentiates
between oil and water, with any pump
application used to control pumps in
elevator, utility, marine, and
industrial sump applications.
Installation will prevent hydrocarbons
from inadvertently pumped into the
environment and oil will not harm or
contaminate this capacitive technology.
The Oil Smart® Switch can be an
integral part of the pump assembly or a
stand-alone component wired to the pump
or a control valve.
Competing
technologies, (continuity type) that
use water as a path of current flow
between two probes are prone to
contamination from both oil and iron
build up on probes. Results: oil that
contaminates (insulates) the probes will
not allow proper operation without first
cleaning. Iron build-up may short the
switch not allowing for pump shut down
ultimately loss of expensive pumps.
In
contrast, oil will not contaminate the
Oil Smart Switch and if oil is present
and ultimately floats to the surface of
the water the switch will pump the water
from below the oil spill without
contaminating the environment. SEEwater
is not aware of any other patented
switch that can make this claim.

The Oil Smart Alarm System Panel

personnel of liquid level problems,

5"x4"x2.5"
NEMA 4X case with high liquid
red- beacon light and audible alarm, an
amber light indicating oil present and a
white light indicating water present,
the unit also includes a full range dry
contacts for remote monitoring.
The Oil Smart Alarm System Panel
#OSA-06 same as the above unit but includes a NEMA 4X case 6"x6"x4" for the
jobs that
require a junction box for field wiring
of additional electrical needs.
The Oil Smart Simplex Motor
Control Panel #OSSIM-30 comes with
1-30 amp
120/240 volt motor start relays for pump
loads up to 1-1/2 HP @ 120VAC with a NEMA 4X case with high liquid red-
beacon light and audible alarm, an amber
light indicating oil present and a white
light indicating water present, the unit
also includes a full range dry contacts
for remote monitoring.
The Oil Smart Duplex Control Panel #OSDUP-#30/30
comes with two 30 amp
120/240 volt motor start relays and
Rotating Relay for pump
loads up to 1-1/2 HP @ 120VAC with a NEMA 4X case with high liquid red-
beacon light and audible alarm, an amber
light indicating oil present and a white
light indicating water present, the unit
also includes a full range dry contacts
for remote monitoring.
The Water
Smart®
Pump Switch is a fail-safe low cost
electronic switch designed to compete
with existing float switches in the
marine industry. Its unique feature is
that oil will not activate or
contaminate the switch.
Once
water activates the switch it will
remain on for 7 to 10 seconds to ensure
maximum elimination of water. SHOWER

The Water

external mounting on shower pan tanks.
Keeping the switch out of the tank and
sensor extended into tank insures a
