The Reliable Choice for use in
Dewatering and Sewage Applications
The SCS Time Adjustable Pump
Control allows the end user to
dial-a-time to the desired "on"
and "off" pumping range; the built
in 8-position dial has eight pump
down choices from seconds to
minutes to suit the needs and size
of the application. The SCS switch
replaces conventional tethered
float switches; it reduces pump
cycling, works well in confined
applications, and prevents false
actuations.
Features:
-
Will Operate any Pump up to 1 HP. No expensive
control panel required; One switch replaces multiple float switches.
-
Adjust the Pump Down Time in the field: 8 Pump
Down Choices: 5-60 Seconds or Custom Settings.
Easy Installation.
-
Includes self-calibrating-sensors (SCS) that
recalibrate and adjust to the
current environment..
-
Solid state electronic control; Not subject to
common float
switch cord entanglement,
problematic installations, mercury regulations and common mechanical
failures. Works well in confined space
applications.

Applications
Operation
When water/wastewater reaches
the long (primary) sensor, the
sensor will send a signal to
turn the pump on and the pump
will remain on for an additional
amount of time after the liquid
clears the sensor. The amount of
pump down time (pump start and
pump stop) is determined based
on the application
characteristics and is adjusted
in the field. If for some
reason, the primary sensor does
not activate and the
water/wastewater continues to
rise to the short sensor, the
short (backup) sensor will send
a signal to turn the pump on for
the same time delay. After each
pump shutdown, the SCS
recalibrates to adjust to the
current environment.
