Model OSSIM-30 Oil Smart Simplex System
Oil Smart Sump Pump System
Contractor shall furnish and install See Water Oil Smart® Simplex Panel Pump System or approved equal. Sump Pump System shall be capable of pumping water without the risk of pumping oil. The system shall automatically function as Oil Containment system relying on no moving parts. Pump Control shall automatically control pump to discharge water without pumping oil, while separate alarm on independent 120 VAC alarm circuit shall alarm and differentiate in the event of high oil or high water condition.
- The Simplex Model # OSSIM-30 consists of the Oil Smart Water Pump Controller with "on" and "off" specific pumping range, 20' cord and Liquid Smart Switch with 20' cord to detect high liquid level and differentiate between oil and water. The controls shall both be able to differentiate between oil and water and consist of no moving parts. The alarm component shall be completely seperate from pump control component to prevent nuisance alarms and so alarm component can be placed at high liquid level. An alarm component mounted on same fixture as pump control shall not be acceptable. All components shall be hardwired into panel and a plug-in type system shall not be acceptable.
- The wall-mount NEMA 4X, UL and CSA approved control panel shall feature visible, full-alarm and pump control capabilities featuring pump run, high liquid level, high water level and high oil level with auxiliary contacts for remote monitoring. HOA (Hands-Off-Auto) Switch shall be provided for manual pump operation. A NEMA 1 enclosure shall not be acceptable.
- The system shall be factory tested and combined with a Single Phase, 110/208/240 VAC effluent submersible pump.
